This B&B is, hands down, the best lodging my husband and I have every stayed at! The house was spotlessly clean all the time, the room we stayed in was very comfortable and the breakfast, oh the breakfast! This has possibly the best breakfast cook in the world! The owners/hosts, Duncan & Gillian are wonderfully kind-hearted people who made our... More

I don't know where to begin! Gillian & Duncan were the perfect hosts and were extremely helpful and accomodating. The property itself is homey AND professional and in EXCELLENT condition. They had good suggestions on things to do and places to see. The daily breakfasts were works of art in terms of quality and variety! We'd definitely want to stay... More

Calling Shangri La a B&B is massively understating this wonderful facility and the incredible hosts. We almost overlooked it and are so glad we didn't. We stayed for just over a week, the breakfasts were great and changed daily, rooms we very clean and spacious. Gillian and Duncan give the place a much more personal feel than a hotel and... More

Gillian and Duncan are hosts extraordinaire that go the extra mile. We are divers who left early each AM and Gillian had coffee to go for us and a hot breakfast waiting on our arrival after our morning dives when we were hungry. And what a breakfast it was - amazing. They will be building a secure diving area where... More

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Shangri-La; we have visited GC many times and always stayed on 7MB, other than one stay out at the East End. We wanted to do something different, and although the reviews were good the reality was that the overall experience was better than we could have expected. Gillian & Duncan... More

I wanted to take a minute and let you know about an incredible little hideaway in West Bay. The British B&B named Shangri-La. I recommend getting driving directions to find it but with the directions we had no problem. When we arrived we were met like long lost family. The room was decorated perfectly and the bed was really comfortable.... More

Stayed here for two nights with my partner. The bed and breakfast was going through a transition due to the previous owners going into retirement. We were welcomed with open arms and given plenty of advice about the Island. The very kind gentleman took us to a nearby restaurant and then picked us up! Breakfast was wholesome and filling, the... Shangri-La, offers the absolute best bed and breakfast accommodations in the Cayman Islands and having travelled extensively myself I can say that I have not seen an equivalent in quality, ambiance, luxury service levels and exquisite food, all of which are best described as being a guest in a tropical version of an English country manor house hosting visitors of... We are so glad we booked our three week holiday in Grand Cayman at the Shangri-La. This bed and breakfast is absolutely first choice for everything it offers, starting from the management (Gillian and Duncan), their incredible breakfast which was different each day. We never had the same breakfast twice in the three weeks we were there. It´s so filling... More
