I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews on TripAdvisor but was out-voted by the family. I'm glad I was. I rang to book a table and one of the questions they asked was if I wanted to be seated close to or far away from the kids play area. Very thoughtful. I ordered the sirloin and... More

We dined here with friends on a public holiday. 10% surcharge applies. Service overall was good and food was slightly better than typical pub food. Good menu variety and a selection of wines and beers. They also serve very good desserts and lemon meringue were the best.

Food was very poor !! . Parma Godfather?? was dry and tasteless, kids didn't eat spaghetti as tasted like bottled bought sauce. Lamb shank very ordinary, kids burger dry. Pumpkin pasta was just o.k. Garlic Pizza was oily as.. Duck spring rolls were o.k. Place was crowded and noisy, the queue to order the meals curled around our table, we... More

This was a very average hotel. In need of a make over. The room I was in anyway.Bed was good though, good shower. With basic necessities.Very noisy on Saturday night because of disco, and rooms are straight in front of disco. Location was great ,a quick walk to railway station. It looked like a great place to eat although we didn't eat there.we stayed here... More

This place used to sing.Food was very ordinary on our recent visit and only about 10 people were dining in the Bistro at Lunchtime.Staff were very friendly but need guidance. For such a huge property it is a shame the bistro is not better managed. An innovative creative chef and manager are needed badly and get rid of the corporate bean counters... For a cheap price, I wasn't expecting much but.. As I unfolded the fold out couch (as there were 3 of us) I saw what looked like vomit stains all over the mattress. Staff hadn't prepared for 3 guest, dirty carpet, loud air con and the worst was the fact that the nightclub is directly situated outside the hotel complex... More

Off the cuff, the kids loved it. Playground, the bowling alley is replaced with video games etc. kids win tickets then trade them for gifts. Totally entertained. For mum and dad though the experience was poor. The food was not good. Salt and pepper calamari entree was soggy and tasted like nothing. We both had steaks that were over cooked... More

Food was good but poor bar service. Tables jammed packed in the bistro could hardly move. Tables that close together you were constantly being bumped by other people. Really slack wait staff empty plates left on table till we left. Only 2 bar staff and the line for drinks was huge 15 min turn around to get served at the... More

Paying $114 for a night you don't expect top shelf but this place is bottom shelf. Mould in the bathroom and shower, cupboard door hinges falling off, paint peeling off the the walls. The tv is basically a small computer monitor which had a remote that didn't work plus the power supply to the tv didn't work. Changed it to... More

Went to the Bristo to take the kids for Dinner, as they had what looked like could be good entertainment for the children, Games Room, Free Tokens with Kids meals and KIDS BOWLING LANE!! However I can accept the very average menu options and average food to a degree given we were here purely for the kids. But The food... More
