Stayed here for a long weekend and we were very pleased and satisfied at this lovely hotel. We had a riverview room - with a large comfortable bed - was very quiet and extremely clean. The staff were all very friendly and the food very good.... from breakfast in the morning to the evening carvery at £5.99 (not weekends) was... More

Returned to this hotel after a previous stay and it was as good as before. Large car park in the rear made parking easy. Convenient location and a pleasant carvery in the evening with a good breakfast buffet..

A nice locking hotel from the outside but thats where it ended. A noisy and disappointing stay. Rooms basic, no phone! very weak WiFi, thin walls + noisy neighbours! Had a meal which clearly was frozen and pre cooked....not great, staff really couldn't be interested, even got a simple drink order wrong. Front desk staff couldn't care less when trying... More

My wife and I recently spent two nights at the hotel and our overall impression of was very good. The hotel was clean and tidy despite undergoing constant modifications and improvements. The hotel is laid out with half of the rooms facing the main road and the remainder all overlook a small island which forms the hotel grounds, which are... More

We booked a lunch for a Sunday carvery for 30 people to celebrate my Mums 90th birthday . The hotel couldn't have been more helpful, they offered us a function room with tables laid for lunch,a table for the cake. We were allowed to decorate the room as we chose and two waitresses were allocated to us for the lunch,... More

Have stayed here many times ,but this time we had our room changed from the one we booked .Beware of rooms on the second floor over the decking on the river side of the building. There is no air conditioning so you have to have the windows open at night and you will be kept awake by people noise. Quilts... More

Second visit this year for pleasure and buisness. Service is wonderful ,more like a family run concern , The staff in catering are very kind, helpful and work hard. Value for money on food and drink Excellant especially as an expensive area..jolly good choice for breakfast. Our room overlooked river and was certainly quieter than our friends which is on... More

Nice little hotel but outside the hassle of Bournemouth. Always try to stay in room 220 which has a big four poster and a nice view of the river ( including the almost tame swans ) restaurant is basic but nice and breakfast is good

Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant food is good value. I feel for £80 a night breakfast should be included however. I really small gripe is that the extractor fan in the bathroom stays on for ages after the light has been turned off and that's annoying at night. But would probably stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel before getting a flight to airport. Asked reception to book a taxi, specifically for 4 people and luggage, but taxi firm ( UNITED ) are incompetent, as recommended by hotel. Taxi turns up which is too small for luggage, With time pressing, we have to squeeze in to car with suit cases in front and on... More

Dear Valued Guest, I am sorry to see that you were dissatisfied with the service you received from the local taxi service during your stay with us. We are a small family business and I feel that your review is targeted to the taxi company and their service to you, and therefore the poor service did not reflect that of... More
