Stayed here for two nights 17-19 August. On arrival found my ground floor room 107 on the front of the building and exceptionally close to the very busy A road. Generally a very nice spacious room but it lacked a wardrobe ( instead there were four coat hooks on the wall with coat hangers on them!I) The windows were two... More

We stayed here for 1 night before flying off on holiday. Our room, though compact, had a lovely aspect, facing the river. Dinner was very reasonably priced and good value for money. The cost of drinks was very cheap compared to other airport hotels and stafff were very friendly. At £15 ish each way for a taxi to the airport,... More

The hotel looks very nice from the photographs, however the photo on the website is of a suite ,the standard rooms do not have french windows, just standard opening windows, the room we had 228 was very nice, with a pleasant view overlooking the river and meadow, the bathroom lets the room down as when you step in to the... Just had our usual 'music' night at the Bridgehouse, usually a very enjoyable evening. However tonight was spoilt by the bar manager for that night accusing us of not paying for 1 dessert. We offered our receipts to proove that we had all paid for the food we had eaten but he declined to look at them and continued to... More

Thank you for your comments. I have spoken to the Barman and he confirmed that it appears there was one dessert outstanding, however this should have been removed as a gesture of goodwill. We are aware that you use the hotel regularly and as a small family owned hotel business we are always keen to provide excellent customer service to... More

We booked here for a 60th wedding anniversary. We managed to get all 40 of the guests to pre-order their food. The staff and management were helpful, flexible and pleasant. All went well with the food and drinks service. The food is not fine dining, but then you are not paying high prices. We would recommend the hotel, especially for... More

Ideal hotel for staying over before flying from Bournemouth Airport. Rooms and facilities all clean and comfy! We arrived at 8.55pm hoping to eat but the kitchen had closed. The nice young lady on the reception questioned the chef and we were able to eat. The food was not brilliant but satisfied us as we were hungry! Great value and... More

We visited the Bridge Hotel in August 2014 through Late Rooms.com. The room rate for a superior double room was £99 per night and we felt this represented terrific value. The room was enormous and had lovely views over the river but the furnishings were rather tired. The hotel has undergone recent renovation and the standard of decor was high.... More

Regularly stay in this cosy clean and beautiful spot. Ask for a room over the river....medieval fields with deep banks to the slow moving river with swans, herons and cormorants. Jolene hosts an efficient warm reception and I never go elsewhere now. Immaculate clean rooms with comfy matresses too. unbeatable! Rachel A

First night couldn't sleep due to the fact the room next door had the telly up loud, put a complaint in as the telly was back on at 5.30 so basically slept 3 and a half hours, next night was fantastic, no noise, rooms clean, plenty of tea and coffee, and the carvery is out of this world
