Pine valley lodge was just what we were looking for: a place that reflected the unique community and environment. When we travel we don't want to see what we could easily see back home. We stayed in " the Shack". It was perfect for the five of us and the dogs. It is old with great charm and was very... More

3 of us were motorcycling thru eastern Oregon, this was one of the most interesting stops. Super friendly and great breakfast. Interesting town and the location for the Hell's Canyon drive is perfect. I definately recommend a visit.

We stayed at the Pine Valley Lodge for one night. When we arrived the host showed that the room I requested was not the room that went through on the computer. She offered to show us the three rooms that were available, including the one I originally wanted. We looked at them all and made our choice. We were very... More

(4) of us showed up unannounced late on a Saturday evening after a long day of adventure touring. We called the number for reservations on the door and were talking to the innkeeper within two rings. Hotel staff was simply a pleasure, the inn has a incredible character all it's own with themed rooms, awesome decorating, extremely comfortable beds, hot... More

Halfway, Oregon is in far eastern Oregon near Hell's Canyon. The town population is 333 and there are just a few laces to spend your money. We stayed for one night in the "Front Porch Room". Breakfast was provided by Tim, the caretaker, and was exceptional. Tim also made sure we got down to the local restaurant before it closed... More

Pine Valley Inn is a treasure in Halfway OR. Wonderful accommodations, we enjoyed a mini studio with private bath, comfy bed, great shower and all of the amenities needed. Location was within walking distance to restaurant and shops. Hot Breakfast included, with waffles, eggs, cereal, several fresh fruit options, breads, juice and fresh hot coffee. Unfortunately WIFI was not available... More

Our stay was perfect. Shelly took my call at 10:00 the night before when we had to change our plans last minuet . It is uniquely different than any other lodging option. The grounds are groomed immaculaty. Breakfast was awesom. Shelly was the best host. She gets an excellent rating.

What a wonderful surprise after a long day's drive! The loge rooms are wonderfully decorated...each room has it's own theme. In addition there are beautifully appointed common spaces. As lovely as the spaces are, the staff are even better! They are warm and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is wonderful. My family completely enjoyed ourselves and... More

This was a gem in this small town. The quality of the lodge, rooms and breakfast was unexpected. Nice owners, comfy bed, good shower, super cute decorations. Lots of communal lounge space, indoor and outdoor, great landscaping. Quite a nice breakfast too which is good because there are not many places to eat in town.
