We went out to Virginia for a music festival, and stayed at the Rockmill. We loved it ALL! Beautiful property, amazing hosts, goats, and chickens. Breakfast was perfect and fresh every day. We had Buckwheat pancakes that were freshly grounded from the 200 year old stone mill up the road. The foundation out front was a mill that Thomas Jefferson... More

Our stay at Rockmill Farm Bed and Breakfast was very enjoyable. We stayed 2 nights in the spacious Virginia room. Tall people will enjoy the shower. A 6+ ft tall person has enough head room for a good shower. Each morning, breakfast was hot and it included fresh strawberries, good coffee and homemade bread. Susie and John were great hosts... And the rural setting is unbeatable, with mountains on both sides of the... More

We have stayed at Rockmill numerous times over the last 5 years. John and Susie are great hosts. All of the rooms are well appointed. Her breakfasts always use local fruits, and her own eggs. She also grinds her own flour for homemade breads. This is a great place to do local hiking, fishing, winery tours, or visiting the local... More

My husband and I had a nice stay here right after Thanksgiving. The house has been well maintained and you do feel like you are staying somewhere historic because of the furnishings (though everything else is modern). The prices just couldn't be beat-we paid $90/night for a room in the Manor House. It is secluded and you have to have... More
