Stayed here in the last weekend in July and that is off-season in Trysil. Booked a standard room with a balcony and a nice view of the river. The hotel is located right next to the river, between the two bridges. Right across the river you have a shopping center. You also have a small convenience store in the same... More

For 200+ dollars we expected much more than what we received. There were 2 single beds which we had to push together with one ratty pillow each. Pump soap dispensers in the boat like bathroom that were out of soap and no shampoo. A view of a dumpster , no TV remote, sporadic WiFi, plastic cups and a hallway full... More

I only stayed a night for business, but it was very nice. I enjoyed a warm welcome and the staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to checkout. The room was more than sufficient, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicate, even if it was off-season. The price was... More

Must not be missed if you happen t be in Trysil around christmas times! We have dines... More

I was traveling with a colleague and we didn't book a hotel in Trysil. We didn't expect that it is complicated to get a room in this town after 23:00, as this is a ski resort and most of the hotels are opened only in winter. But we were lucky as the reception man arrived after our phone call (number... More

I stayed at Trysil Knut Hotel in the begining of April 2010. The aim of the visit was to do some early spring downhill skiing. Any reader of this review must keep in mind that Norway is one of the five most expensive countries in the world. In various surveys for example, the capitol Oslo, ranks as among the top... More
