Lovely hotel. Great setting. Food ok. Our dog was made very welcome, as were we! Staff very friendly and efficient. An open fire or wood burning stove would have been a wonderful addition as it was bitterly cold whilst we were there. Room temp was perfect though. Lovely room.

We decided to stay here based on its excellent reviews and website. Let me say up front that we had a great time, the staff were very welcoming and helpful and we would probably go back - but there were a number of disappointing factors which you should be aware of if you are considering this venue. The hotel advertises... More

I am a regular visitor to the area and chose the hotel for a meal on my wife's 60th birthday when I discovered that restaurant meals are also served in the comfortable bar area which is dog- friendly (we had our dog with us on holiday). The staff were very helpful and friendly, our dog was given treats and the... More

I stayed at the Warkworth House on Saturday 29th November, with my husband and some friends. The occasion was a birthday celebration.Unfortunately, shortly after our arrival, my husband was taken ill, the severity of which necessitated a 999 call and a trip to hospital. Fortunately all was eventually well. The hotel staff could not have been kinder or more caring, both... More

We popped into Warkworth House hotel for Sunday lunch, were served immediately with drinks and didn't have wait long for a really delicious Sunday lunch, beautifully presented, followed by a large dish of sticky toffee pudding. We'll be back! Christmas decoration were up too and the hotel looked so cosy and inviting. Loved the lounge chairs!!

We have been going to Warkworth House Hotel for many years and always enjoyed our visits. Over the last couple of years a considerable amount of refurbishment has taken place and it must be said that the room we had was very pleasant. We were also delighted to see the reinstatement of the lounge in which to relax. The food... More

And it was worth the wait. Called the hotel earlier that week to change from double to twin room - arm in a sling necessitates sleeping in single bed! - no problem, on arrival (early) was given pot of tea in lounge whilst room readied. Room itself had recently been updated and was very comfortable, good size with en-suite and... More

We finally stayed at this hotel and found the staff extremely helpful and the rooms are newly reappointed to a good standard. Great breakfast to.close to beaches and lovely walks along with the lovely Alnwick castle and gardens. Other places are Seahouses, Beadnel and Bamburgh Castle.

Had a 2 night stay in this hotel with our 2 Labradors, very dog friendly which always makes me happy. We had an evening meal in the bar with the dogs, booking essential as most want to dine with their dogs. Food very nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast is also very nice (full English) and the fresh chopped fruit was... More

Booked here for sunday lunch - were in the bar as we had our dog. Not a problem as this was a lovely room. Food was lovely. Not too much. Yorkshire puds were real home made ones. Pudding was lovely. Creme brulee- my favourite. The dog got a bowl of water. Lovely staff and good price. Would go again.
