We chose this B&B on the basis of the reviews and felt we should add to the list. Our room (Sea Holly) was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were lovely with a lot of choice and we had supper at the Bistro on our first evening (it was delicious and lovely to see Helen & Richard... More

We don't usually do reviews but really felt we should because it was such a good find. As the other reviewers have found it has everything you could possibly want from a B&B - great location, spotless and comfortable, attention to detail (eg fresh milk rather than those little pots) and most importantly you are made to feel really welcome,... I have to stay of all the B&B's we've stayed in this is by far the nicest and most pleasant accommodation. The hosts are delightful and as soon as we checked in we were made to feel welcome. The room we stayed in (sea lavender room) is stunningly laid out and spotlessly clean. A very good sized room with attention... More

We just finished an 8night walking tour of the Northumberland Coastal Trail-- this B&B was by far the best. If I could, it would get 10 stars. Superb food, exceptionally comfortable rooms, wonderful attention to every detail....this would compete anywhere, not just in a rural part of the UK. Definitely wish we could have stayed longer, and used this B&B... More

We had a one night stay at the Old post office with our dog. It's a dog friendly establishment and we were all made to feel very welcome. We were offered teaw when we arrived in the front room the place is immaculate and decorated beautifully. We were then showed to our room which was on the top floor. There... More

My husband and I spent a night at this wonderful B&B (decorated throughout in a nautical/beach theme) which is within walking distance from Warkworth Castle. Owners Richard and Helen Prytherch greeted us with tea and delicious homemade chocolate cake upon our arrival. We were soon chatting like old friends about things to see and pubs close by for dinner. The... More

A most impressive B&B. Spotlessly clean. Every whim catered for. Delightful host and hostess, Richard and Helen. Luxurious breakfast- we had Craster kippers. We shall go out of our way to find another excuse to return. They have just started offering an evening meal. We were not able to dine there but the menu looked delicious

This is how a B&B should be. Clean, comfortable, welcoming and friendly with amazing and generous breakfasts. We stayed here with our son and Helen and Richard could not have been nicer or more hospitable. It's the small touches that count like fresh milk, coffee machines and homemade cake when you arrive. This couple have obviously put a great deal... More

Thanks for taking the time to write such a good review and it's always nice to hear that you're along the right tracks. I hope all the local wildlife are managing to escape Angus and his new crossbow! See you soon, best wishes, Helen and Rich More
