We visited on Valentine's Day for a 1 night stay and were very impressed with the warmth and hospitality of this lovely bed & breakfast. It is in a great location for visiting the Northumberland beaches and coastal path. Right in the centre of Warkworth with some lovely shops, galleries, pubs & restaurants around to visit. There is no on... More

From the moment you enter until the moment you leave you are made to feel special. I have said this before in previous reviews but the key word ids consistency and this place is just that. Richard is never scared to add new items to the menu picked up from their travels and Helen delivers the goods from the kitchen.... More

What a super review, many thanks. The haggis scotch egg is proving very popular, but very tricky to make! Always good to welcome you back, best wishes Helen and Rich More

Visited for dinner with friends. Absolutely fabulous from the gorgeous decor to the mouth watering food. One of the nicest meals I've ever had in this neck of the woods. Attention to detail old fashioned hands on staff. The owners are passionate about food and this comes across well in the menu choices. Food cooked with love and served with... More

We stayed at the end of October 2014, at quite short notice, while visiting family in the area. We know Warkworth very well having lived nearby ourselves until about 20 years ago....and what a fantastic addition to the village!!! We got a lovely welcome after a 400 mile drive and loved our room. Sadly the Bistro was closed for a... More

We recently spent three nights at the Warkworth Old Post Office and would give it eleven out of ten if that were possible. My wife and I and our two children had the two top bedrooms which were beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean - everything was catered for, including an extensive collection of dvd's ! I've lived and travelled abroad... More

Warkworth Old Post Office B & B Pros: Clean & Comfortable Cons: Nothing to speak of. Room was clean and small, but comfortable. It was slightly noisy as we were right over the restaurant and social area of this establishment. Hosts were friendly, and provided access to free tea, hot chocolate, and instant coffee. There was a small mini bar... More

We stayed two nights at start of November and cannot speak highly enough of this charming B and B. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Our little whippet Monica was very warmly welcomed by the owners, which really made the holiday for us. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were excellent. We... More

We stayed two nights in late October and couldn't have hit on more superior accommodation. The room was really excellent and the provisions for tea, coffee, other drinks and snacks was way more than one would expect in a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was brilliant with a diverse choice and beautifully presented and cooked. Northumbrian griddlecakes or the full breakfast... More

We stayed here whilst walking St Oswald's Way. It was the best accommodation we had on the whole trip. Beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, we had a great welcome. Wonderful breakfast - you must try the Northumberland griddle cakes, you won't find them anywhere else Thanks Dobbin
