Pauline and Chris always greet you with a warm welcome. We have stayed three times now and will be back. The room is tastefully decorated, the power shower is to die for and the breakfasts are yummy. This is a must stop over on a trip around Northumberland or a pleasant get away. There are plenty of eating and drinking... More

We stayed at the White House for just one night, it was lovely. The location is great for both the Northumberland coast and Alnwick castle and gardens. Warkworth itself has plenty of choice of places to eat and a lovely riverside The room is lovely and spacious with modern but traditional decor, the beds are comfy, the ensuite shower room... More

We needed ground floor accommodation for one night near to Alnwick. The White House proved to be just right. We had a very warm, friendly welcome, and help with the luggage. Local places of interest and a good place to eat were pointed out. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was brought to the room at a time... More

What a fantastic find! Spent 6 nights at this lovely place and it was just fantastic. Such attention to detail with everything - even to find an Indian Restaurant was no problem for the owners Pauline and Chris. Pauline puts such hardwork into looking after her guests. This was the first holiday for just me and hubby - no children... More

Could only stay for one night but would have loved to stay longer. Lovely spacious room with all conveniences, warm service and excellent value. Right in centre of lovely village with plenty of pubs and riverside walks.

Been going to Warkworth for near on 20 years but only found the White House in 2012 and been twice in past 6 months. Its extremely clean and comfortable and Pauline is as good a hostess as you could hope for. She welcomes you then apart from breakfast time you never see her again unless you want to speak to... Stayed here on our recent walking holiday and had a great nights stay and a friendly welcome.... Even in our wet state! Room is excellent beating many top rated hotels. Breakfast is a welcome change from the usual cooked breakfast and served in your room .... Nice touch! Would recommend to anyone staying in the area
