We rented an 8 person apartment with 7 of us. We all felt that what was lacking was a more comfortable seating area. There was only one sofa (sofa bed) so we found that we were all sitting around a rather small table and chairs, in a rather small area. We didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment... More

We recently spent Christmas week in Val Cenis and booked via Snowtrex which included a lift pass and ski hire. After a long drive, we were greeted by reception who dealt with us quickly and with good English. The room was not the biggest but very cosy and always warm - perhaps a little too hot at times. The kitchen... More

Les Alpages is as per the reviews. 16 th Feb 2013 half term there were no queues in Val Cenis apart from the ski school area which is to be expected. Val Cenis Great resort for kids with many decent greens and blues all over the mountain.Micro climate good snow The absence of an open bar at Alpages means there... More

Our family of 5 stayed here Feb 16th for a week. The apartments are really quite small, think of the ground floor of a terraced house divided into 2 bedrooms a living/dining space, toilet, shower room and bathroom, just tiny. Having said that we coped and if you’re looking for reasonably priced digs, this met are needs. Its well-placed you... More

The apartments were clean and nice enough, very close to the slopes which was fantastic as we were skiing with a 7 and 8 year old who weren't too happy to carry their ski's far. Le Criterium restaurant was just behind the apartments and food was good here and meant the children could sledge outside when they'd finished while we... More

Great apartament, clean and close to the town centre. It cannot get better than this - having a fresh French baguette delivered every morning. Staff were very helpful, rooms clean and spacious. The ski lifts were literally on the doorstep, just behind the hotel. I would definitely recommend it to others and if I ever go back to Val Cenis... More

This hotel was in an ideal location, close to an easy run and to a fast four man lift. The pool and sauna area was clean, warm and well used by all ages. The one bed apartment was clean and well looked after. The kitchen equipment was as expected except for an added bonus of a toaster!

Beautiful location with great and friendly staff. However, the 4-star rating must be based on location and not on amenities. For people who want a nice, plain, clean, chalet-like apartment/hotel in the mountains, this is the place. For people who want a luxurious vacation, you should look elsewhere. For example, internet is available (sometimes), but only in the lobby. The... More

Appartment Very nice people at réception, even with a very crowded and concentratearrival. Rooms are cosy, clean and very efficient. Nice fourniture and clean bathroom.
