we had 2 comfortable night's stay at the loco. Room very clean and tidy very good en suite. Staff helpful an Jamie such a good host, who went out if his way to make us welcome. A very good hearty breakfast which made this visit worthwhile. The Italian restaurant downstairs is an asset. Thank you.

This is still a nice pub to stay at but this is now under new ownership from the pub next door which means that breakfast is now served next door. This is because the restaurant in the pub is not ran by the pub anymore. The restaurant. The food is still good (Italian instead or curries but nice all the... More

We had a nice twin room in the front of the hotel. Clean and comfortable. The resteraunt was closed for holidays so we could not eat there. On street parking outside with access to the carpark of The Duke William if wanted. Breakfast was served in the pub next door, The Duke William. Had a full english which was not... More

The set up is quaint with a good pub hotel on one side and pub restaurant on the other It is what it is , an honest friendly place with good food in a nice village that won't break the bank Location is good for Doncaster and East Coast with very interesting places to visit nearby

The landlord Jamie and his partner were extremely welcoming. They showed us to our room and were very welcoming upon our arrival. Haxey is a stunning part of Doncaster surrounded in lots of lovely walks. The food in the Italian was lovely and the bar staff provided a relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend this B&B to anyone, families, couples, solo,... More

We stayed at this hotel overnight, including breakfast on a Groupon. On arrival, we thought there was no one there, but a young man appeared behind the bar and showed us to our room. We had to go through a side door which had a code which could only be used up to 9pm. After that you had to enter... More

A lovely place to visit. Very quiet and peaceful, ideal for a week end relax. Our room in the Loco was nice, clean and well equipped. Could have done with some new pillows as they provided us with one flat pillow each. Ended up going out to buy extra ourselves. Had a bit of trouble sleeping on the first night... More

Rock band playing until midnight Rooms above the bar where band playing Bin full of old tea bags and crumbs in bed. Clearly not clean linen or changed. Not good at all. Small double bed. I think the crumbs in the bed was the worst part of stay

Up some stairs and the room was located opposite the door from the stairs. The room was small. access to one side of the bed only. The shower... More
