Lovely service from friendly owner and excellent breakfast. Beds were singles but comfy. It looks a bit basic but does all you want from a hotel. Not far from town but given the altitude we drive in for dinner.

The place could use improvements, but they are trying. The radiator in our room didn't work, but was not a problem because there were adequate covers on the bed. Room is large but spartan. There is hot water only in the morning and at night. It takes a few minutes for the hot water to get to the rooms. Wait... More

We spent a week at Hotel Qantati while doing work in the region and were very happy that we ended up here - based on my observations, this is the nicest place in Putre. The rooms are large, very clean, simply but nicely furnished, warm at night, and with a large bathroom with a shower/tub and most times plenty of... More

This is a no-frills single-storey hotel set in a very quiet site on the edge of Putre, with rooms built around a central garden. It is necessary to walk outside from reception to the room block. The bedroom was large and had an excellent view down the valley (very good sunsets!). One or two issues that did arise (such as... More

The Qantati hotel is a nicely maintained motel type structure built around an internal garden. The rooms were roomy and clean - the heater worked well and there was hot water available at any time (this is not necessarily a given in the area). WiFi was best near the lobby. The location was a walkable distance outside of town but... More

A newly built hotel with 10 rooms set round a small garden. The reception/lounge/dining area is large and pleasant The bedrooms are basic but fairly large, also the bathroom. A simple Chilean breakfast is served. My one criticism of this hotel is the duvet/quilt provided had no cover. This is really unhygenic and not very pleasant to sleep under. Not... More

Putre lies just below the Altiplano an is slightly off the beaten track but it is worth making the detour. The main agricultural activity is growing alfalfa both for winter fodder and sale. It is grown on irrrigated terraces but from the look of abandoned terraces, It seems that the activity is declining. The hotel lies at the bottom of... More

A small hotel at the edge of Putre. Basic rooms, but a very good breakfast: fresh fruit salad. 3.500 mtrs high, so you could order coca tea. Nights were cold, but rooms were warm.

This small hotel, on the edge of the small town of Putre, was our final stay at the end of our Chilean trip, and was thoroughly enjoyable. We were part of a group of 14, and noone mentioned any sign of earthquake damage (mentioned in an earlier review). The rooms were spacious, clean and warm, hot water was reliable, and... More

Hotel Q'antati is a nice cozy little hotel about a 15 min walk outside of Putre. Hotel was clean, but the rooms had not been repaired from the earthquake this summer; large cracks, missing plaster, etc. Has a very nice garden/courtyard and free breakfast. We got eggs one morning, otherwise it was Chilean standard of cheese and ham + toast... More
