This hotel is everything you'd expect from the name Ritz Carlton. It is clean, the wait staff is very attentive (maybe even too much), the other guests keep to themselves and were not very friendly, etc. I came down to SoCal for a job interview, paid for by my prospective employer and they put me up at the Ritz. It... more

Had a business event at the Ritz out in LA. The hotel is wonderfully accomodated and service was abosutely stellar. The front desk helped me track down the best noreabang in the area which we didn't end up doing, but I appreciated their efforts. The food was great, the room was great, the location is a bit lacking. That said... more

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and have enjoyed it constantly. There is not much to say other than it is a Ritz and lives up to its name in luxury and service. Every room had a small balcony and all have great views of the marina or city. The hotel is located right on... more

Basically I used this as a glorified airport hotel (arrived in the evening with an outgoing flight LAX-LHR due after 4pm next day). Travelled alone. I booked this through a favorable Amex Platinum FHR rate. I booked the cheapest deluxe room and got a very nice upgrade to a Junior Suite, King Bed, with a view straight over the marina.... more

I have stayed at this hotel three times now, in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and can not fault anything at this hotel. If you're on a family vacation it's probably out of your price range and you need to drive to most things, but I stayed for business and everything was managed to perfection! Check in was really good. Each... more

My husband and I stayed one night at the Ritz Carlton in Marina del Rey, and I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. The best part about the hotel is the amazing service. Every hotel staff person that we met was friendly and went out of his or her way to make our stay so enjoyable. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! more

I stayed here for business on the concierge floor and the staff was the best part. While I would not recommend this hotel if you are vacationing in LA due to its remote location, it was pleasant overall. The spa is average at best and in need of an update. The beds are probably the most comfortable I have ever... more

We only stayed one night before boarding our cruise liner but what a glorious place to stay. The atmosphere from the first greeting was one of relaxed hospitality and after our flight and usual 2 hours standing in immigration it was a joy! The rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished with wonderful views over the marina. The bathroom didn't skimp... more

The rooms are large and clean, but I've always had something go wrong every time I stay....once I was there for 10 days and didn't have a hot shower the whole time I was there despite complaints about the water temp to the front desk and concierge. Also, if you're at all interested in nightlife such as dining or bars,... more

I was here for a quick getaway and had a nice time. The hotel is very quiet (at least while I was there) and seemed to have many business meetings and functions going on - although not obtrusive for regular hotel guests. The location is gorgeous and views/sunsets are a nice way to unwind and relax. The spa was nice... more
