Points of Interest

1. Larch Mountain Scenic Road Top Parking Lot

2. Sherrard Point

The highpoint of this loop at 4,075 feet. From here head back the way you came to start a relaxing loop hike around the crater. But make sure to soak in the views of the Gorge, Rainier, Adams, St. Helens and Hood before you go, taking lots of photos! The rest of the loop won't have views as good as this.

3. Multnomah Creek Side Trail

Here you will take the trail down towards Multnomah Creek which will then take you to the headwaters of what feeds the most famous waterfall in the Northwest.

4. Footbridge and Trail Junction

You will cross several footbridges in this area before you start up the trail along Multnomah Creek.

5. Trail Junction

When you get to the crest of the ridge take a right and start heading up the spine of the ridge which will bring you back to the parking lot. You are now on the Oneonta Trail.

6. Back on the Larch Mtn. Road

Just walk back up the road to the parking lot near the top.
