1. Parking/Trailhead

2. Cow Pasture

This first section runs along cow pastures, and there are a few cow gates you will pass through. Be sure not to spook the cattle and close the gates after you pass though.

3. Groundhogs

Lookout for groundhogs sunning on the rocks in this area.

4. Canyon Walls

5. Bedrock Pools

Lookout for butterflies, and be careful walking on the rocks as they can be slippery.

The trail continues on another 8 miles to the town of Wahkiacus, but we found this a good place to turn around.
