Points of Interest

1. Intersection

Take a left up the gravel road which will begin to climb steeply. Take a moment to look at the map to get your bearings if you want.

2. Another Left

Take a left and continue to follow the gravel road up the ridge.

3. Yet Another Left

Take a left and follow the road up a steep incline.

4. Junction

At this junction you can head left again like I did to check out another high point of the ridge or you can take a right and head up a steep short trail to the top of McCulloch Peak where a bench waits for you to rest on.

5. Top of McCulloch

Enjoy the bench and then take a right to loop around the top of the mountain to regain the same road you ascended on.

6. Extendo

On the way down take a right onto to Extendo to have a fun single track descent.

7. Single Track Extension or Boring Road

When you pop out to the road take a left then a quick right (not the 2nd right) to head back on some singletrack. Or take the 2nd right to reconnect with the main road and back to the car. I like taking the extra singletrack. If you do this make sure you take the first left over a hump of dirt onto it and back to your car.

8. Trailhead

Oak Creek Laboratory of Biology Trailhead to MacDunn.
