Tips:  The Connery Pond Trailhead is 3 miles north on Route 86 from Lake Placid and it is free to park there as far as I know.

Points of Interest

1. Connery Pond Trailhead

Park here and head off onto the trail into the woods.

2. Connery Pond

You'll have some views of your destination over this pond. Don't swim here. Wait for a couple more miles until you reach Whiteface Landing and Lake Placid.

3. Whiteface Landing

You can stop here on the way up or down but if you are here in the middle of the summer this will be a fantastic dip into Lake Placid on a hot day! Relax on the dock for as long as you would like!

4. Summit of Whiteface

At 4,865' you are now on the summit of Whiteface. If you are finishing your 46 on this peak hopefully you have some friends/family to meet you at the top with some great food.
