Points of Interest

1. Buck Mountain Trailhead

From here you will be climbing 1,985 feet to the top. You will first follow a wide road through the woods and then follow yellow DEC trailmarkers to the top.

2. Junction

Here you will come to a junction with a trail continuing on towards Inman Pond deep in the woods of the eastern side of Lake George near Hogtown Road. Instead take a left and follow the yellow DEC trailmarkers to the top of Buck.

3. Summit of Buck Mountain

At 2,448 feet you are now at the summit of Buck Mountain. Take the time to explore the rocky summit for great views of the lake below. Look closely at the boats darting around on the water below if you are here in the summer.
