Points of Interest

1. Nineteenmile Brook Trail

$3 fee to park here.

2. Nineteenmile Brook Trail Split

Head up to climbers left to Zeta Pass.

3. Zeta Pass

Head left (north) to climb the ridge up to South Carter and Middle Carter.

4. South Carter Summit 4,430 feet

A mostly wooded summit without many views.

5. Middle Carter Summit 4,610 feet

The furthest summit from your car in this trip. The best overlook is north of the summit.

6. Mt. Hight 4,675 feet.

Small summit on the way to Carter Dome. This peak has the best views for the trip.

7. Carter Dome Summit

The highest summit on this trip at 4,832'. Not many views from the top though, just a rocky clearing with a sign.

8. Far below in Carter Notch

Steep cliffs up to Wildcat to the south and where you came down on Carter Dome to the north. From here head down the trail to meet back up with nineteenmile brook trail to return to your car.
