White Wolf also features a large display of antiques to browse while waiting for your food to arrive, and everything is for sale, making it a great place to start the shopping tour of Ivanhoe, too.

This store first opened in 1986 and has continued to be one of the best places in Orlando to find gently used vintage clothing, hats, purses, costume jewelry, collectibles and more. It has men's clothing as well as women's. There are also a lot of kitschy knickknacks for purchase.

The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Deja Vu ... Morebuys also, so bring a suitcase of what you want to sell and return home with a whole new wardrobe.

Remember the old days of music stores, where every available space was taken up by racks of vinyl and CDs? Where the walls had every inch taken up by posters and shelves with memorabilia for sale? This is that store.

Rock & Roll Heaven sells all the aforementioned, along with DVDs and collectibles, but most of the space is dedicated to... More vinyl—both albums and 45s.

There's not much as far as current radio hits, though you will find some new releases. However, if you're looking for that rare older piece to complete your collection, you just might find it here. The owner knows his stuff and is also willing to buy but is very picky as to what he takes in. A real music lover's paradise.

Those who enjoy retro home decor will definitely want to visit this store. Granted, you probably won't want a couch as a souvenir of your visit to Orlando, but there's a lot of cool stuff to look at, along with retro home accessories from dishes to wall art.

Most of what I've seen in stock on various visits would fit nicely in the 19... More40s to 1970s style of decor. Prices aren't outrageous, but they're not cheap, either. As a plus, the owners and staff love to talk about the furniture and if you're looking for a special piece, they're willing to take your name and number and try to find one.

This small park sits on the east side of Lake Ivanhoe, and while the park has the Interstate 4 freeway bordering it on the west side, it is popular with local water- and jet-skiing enthusiasts. It has a boat ramp on the northeast side of the lake. There are no lifeguards or other supervision in the park.

Paddleboarding is also popular ... Moreon the lake; you can rent a board from Paddleboard Orlando, located inside Ski World, across the street from the park (1415 N. Orange Ave.; hours, noon-6pm Monday-Saturday). Rentals start at $25 per board; lessons start at $75. You'll find more information on the website listed below. There are bathrooms in the park, but no showers or changing rooms. You'll also have to bring your own towels.

For landlubbers, the park has a sand volleyball court that is frequently in use, though you'll have to bring your own ball, and a playground for the kids. It also has a really good running trail, complete with a few fitness stations along the way.

This restaurant may be 100 percent vegan, but I've seen even the most die-hard carnivore enjoying the menu. Every year this place wins best vegan or vegan/vegetarian restaurant awards from city newspaper polls. Also, since it does not use meat or milk nearly all menu items are kosher.

While she's a lot smaller than the New York City version, Orlando's Statue of Liberty stands 8 feet tall at the southeastern edge of Lake Ivanhoe, at the corner of North Orange and Magnolia avenues. It was donated to the city in 1953.

Sometimes when the Orlando Magic basketball team is doing well, the statue finds itself adorned in a ... MoreMagic jersey. Nobody has ever claimed responsibility for the gesture, though.
