Points of Interest
1. Parking/Trailhead
Park anywhere along the Main St. and you will find the trailhead here at the end of the street.
To the East you will see the Big River entering Mendocino Bay in front of you.
3. Stairs to the Beach
Follow the stairs here for beach access.
4. Beach Walk
Be careful of logs and driftwood, and sneaky waves.
5. Punchbowl
The ground has colapsed here so you can look down and see the waves crashing in the cave below.
6. Cliff Viewpoint
Nice view of the bay, as well as looking across to the cliffs on the trail ahead.
7. Another Cliff Viewpoint
8. Tidepools
Becareful on these slippery rocks. You'll find lots of seaguls and you will find sealife in the tidepools.
9. Lagoon and Caves
Really cool viewpoint of blue lagoon and caves made from rock erosion.
