Home to more than 150 high-end boutiques, restaurants and service establishments, Montana Avenue encapsulates a really laid-back, relaxed feeling that you get from being near the beach and being in Santa Monica, where yoga classes and women in designer shades abound. Plenty of California sunshine and trees make this outdoor shopping destination most enjoyable.
Depending on what you like to do for breakfast, I suggest starting out early in the day, as the morning sun is nice on Montana. You can start with just a made-to-order cup of coffee and pastry at Caffe Luxxe down on the south end of this guide by 9th street, or, if you like to have a bigger meal in the morning, Blue Plate Restaurant, up on the north end by 14th street, serves up some outstanding breakfasts.
There are a few optional ways to take this guide--depending on the time allocated to your day, you can choose to include a yoga class, take in a movie or even schedule a facial. There is much to do, so plan yourself a nice, easygoing day! less «
