Bogota for free
Located in Bolivar Square, this is the largest cathedral in Colombia and one of the largest in South America. It's a magnificent example of neoclassical architecture and is filled with colonial paintings and ornate decorations.
Colombia's oldest museum holds a vast collection of archeological artifacts, as well as modern art. The building itself is interesting—it's a former prison and many of the galleries are inside former prison cells.
A massive and well-maintained botanical garden with a variety of different areas, including an exhibit of 5,000 indigenous orchids.
Built in 1556, Bogota's oldest surviving church has a beautiful ornate interior.
Famous square marking a historic turning point in Colombia's colonial past.
