This natural history museum is the oldest civic museum in Milan. Its six sections offer a look at everything from the history of humankind to the study of paleontology (dinosaurs, anyone?) to zoology.
Located in Rivolta d’Adda (about 25 kilometers or 15.5 miles) from Milan’s city center, this sprawling park offers a fascinating look at prehistoric eras (people and beasts), a paleontological museum, wild animals in semi-captivity, woods, a river and lake, and more. The pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly park also features a range of guided tours and activities for kids and adults.
This gelateria, or Italian ice cream shop, is one of the most beloved in Milan. It features a few different locations, including a popular one in Piazza del Duomo, right near the city’s famous cathedral. Dozens of flavors await.
