Angela A's City Tips

  • Transportation in San Juan is simple, as many areas are best explored on foot. Free trolleys, city buses, and taxis are also available.
  • The average temperature in San Juan is about 82 degrees, with a rainy season in the summer and fall.
  • Spanish is the dominant language spoken in San Juan. However, most people in the tourist areas will definitely speak some English, so communication shouldn't be a problem.
  • The U.S. dollar is the official currency of Puerto Rico.
