Points of Interest

1. Parking

Park anywhere you can find a place in the Jenny Lake parking lot.

2. Start your swim

Just kidding. Get on the Jenny Lake Boat instead to take you across the lake for the start of the hike :)

3. Loop hike option Junction

Start off on the trail heading directly towards Hidden Falls from the boat dock. You'll take a loop back on a different trail to return here on the way out.

4. Hidden Falls

Check out the views of this 200 foot waterfall from the trail below. From here double back on the trail and head up to Inspiration Point for some great views.

5. Inspiration Point

I'm not exactly sure were the specific Inspiration Point view POI is (there is a sign - see attached photo) because there are so many views from this switchback climb up into Cascade Canyon. You'll be able to see out over the Grand Teton National Park and up into the Cathedral Group of Mountains towards the Grand Teton Towering above them all.

Your gps may have a little trouble obtaining a signal (that is why the gps track of this guide is a little wild in this part of the canyon). Make sure you keep track of your time and your distance from the boat launch and when the last boat leaves to return to the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. We got to this point before we had to turn around to... More

7. Trail Junction

Take the left trail for a loop hike back to the boat launch.
