| Modern, Fresh and Clean Beachfront holiday home. Three Bedrooms sleeping up to Eight people, Perfect for families. There were eight of us in our stay and the beauty of Possum Beach Cottage is that they don't charge per person, you just pay for the hire of the entire cottage. It utilises a simple and unique online booking system. They send you a key code or PIN via email and you just turn up and let yourself in. There is no human contact at all. We were apprehensive at first but were glad we took the plunge. It is immaculate inside, very clean and new and has it's own laundry too. And the view from the Lounge room and Master Bedroom are what day dreams are made of. At the end of our stay we just locked up the cottage and let ourself out. It was so simple. Highly Recommended. |

2. Port Arthur Historic Site
| Set on beautifully manicured grounds and surrounded by native forrest, this is a must see. We were only going to spend a couple of hours there but at the 4 hour mark we still hadnt seen everything. It's a big place. You can take a boat cruise out to the Isle of the Dead too, so allow time for that. We didnt realise it but your entry ticket is valid for two days, and thats a good thing because you'll need it, especially if you arrive there much after 1pm. The best thing for us was that it was only a 2 minute drive from where we stayed at Possum Beach Cottage so it was really easy to get to. The history and architecture are unbelievable. Definately recommended. |

3. Palmers Lookout
| Turn left out of the driveway of Possum Beach Cottage and head North into the forrest. Then take a left at the turn-off to Palmers lookout. Wow! What a view. The whole peninsula can bee seen from up here. We were lucky and had a clear day with blue sky. Do yourself a favour and take the trip to Palmers lookout. It's located high on the hill behind Possum Beach Cottage and only takes 2 minutes to get there. |

4. Remarkable Cave
| If you turn left out of Possum Beach Cottage's Driveway and head south for 5 minutes you'll eventually end up at a Dead End. Here is where Remarkable Cave is located. There is a lookout here that makes you gasp as you wonder at the towering cliffs that rise out of the ocean. Follow the steps down, down, down to the Remakable Cave. You'll certainly get your quota of excersice for the week on the way back up the steps, but it'll be worth it. |

7. Eaglehawk Neck

| About 10 minutes before you get to Port Arthur is Eaglehawk Neck. Here you'll find the natural formations of, Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen, Tasman Blowhole and the Tessellated Pavement. Well worth a look on you way down to Port Arthur. |
