"Oh my gosh... this is the worst hotel that i've every had the misfortune to stayed in, and I've been to quite a few in many countries. If I could give it minus points, I would .... When I got to my room, it was filthy. The carpets had stains on them and were dirty. The bathtub was broken and stained, and to be honest i wouldn't of used it either. There was milldew on the tiles and some sort of black fungus.
The toliet seat had dried urine or something on it. There was no soap provided, so i had to use the shower and hair gel.
The TV was broken, the bed sheets were dirty and had small holes in them." |

| "Advoid like the plage,It is the most disgusting, smelly, Revolting place that you could ever imagine. As we walked in the so called reception area it smelt like cat pee then we was greeted by one of the Adams family who was very rude,He showed us our room which was gob smacking,An inch thick of dirt everywhere, I was scared to go into the shower just incase i would catch something, The springs were shooting out of the flee mattress, The wall paper was comming off the walls with the amount of mould and damp on it, The floors were damp,It was freezing cold as the heating did not work, Then the owner took us through the kitchen which was worse than anything in the world i had to run out to be sick. Then to top it all off he asked us what time we wanted breakfast..." |

"Words fail me about this hotel, but I'll give it a go....
On arrival I was given a room which as other reviewers have stated, had had the door kicked in at some point. Entering the rank, dark and dingy room, the corners of my mouth were already starting to curve downwards. A very grey, moth eaten and grubby beadspread covered the bed which had a a massive sag in the middle. The bathroom was disgusting with mold, mildew and other 'growths' and stains abound. Just as I was saying to myself 'it's only one night' I noticed the balcony door was open. On further inspection, there was no handle on the door and therefore it could not be closed." |

"The 2nd room we were given was dirty with mould and mildew on the bathroom walls, dirty, smelly brown marks on the face towel, and bedsprings could be felt through the mattress that DID NOT have a mattress pad on it. I was afraid to look too closely in case I found bedbugs. The bathroom fixtures were rusty and dirty, one of the lights didn't work and there was a line of dirt along the edges of all the shabby carpets." |

"This dump should be condemned. Everything is filthy and falling apart. The front steps are crumbling and the carpet and furniture are held together with duct tape. The sagging, rotten beds are full of holes. Our window was broken and held together with masking tape. The TV didn't work and we were promised a replacement which never came. The bathroom reeked of urine." |

"The room was tiny, damp, mouldy and overnight the dingy little bathroom stated to smell. Eventually the smell woke us up and we left immediately at 07.00.
I have stayed in hotels all over the US and Europe. This was bat far the worst hotel I have ever seen." |

"When we opened the door to our room we were welcomed by an awful stench (it smelt like a cat had urinated in it). The ceiling was stained from leaking water (this started dripping throughtout the second night when we had rain) there were two double beds that smelt musty and a single towl for us to share placed on one of the beds, and half of the plug socket was smashed with wires exposed.
The bathroom was disgusting, the tiles were dirty with mildew everywhere, both the sink and toilet were grimey , and only one toilet roll had been provided (I cant say I found the idea of having a shower very appealing) and again the wires were exposed on the light above the mirror.
After our first nights stay, we had showers in the morning and placed the dirty towel on the floor, for them to replace. when we came back that evening the towel had been picked up, folded in half and placed at the end of the spare bed to dry." |

"The beds were like prison cots: one could feel every wire underneath. The box springs were tattered. Worst of all the first room reeked of smoke and the toilet seat was sitting in the middle of the room. The second room we got was no better: it reeked of body odor, or some kind of awful "damp" that permeated our clothes and hair, especially after a shower. There was even a large snail crawling around on the toilet paper roll." |

| "The Britannia hotel is the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. On arrival, having negotiated the urine stenched reception I was allocated a single bedroom (with a single bed) which resembled a prison cell. The room was dirty and the bath water, when run, was a turgid browny green colour. Having complained, I was then moved and upgraded to a double room, which on the surface appeared to be cleaner and more adequately furnished. However the initial post prison cell euphoria was short lived as I discovered that there was no hot water, the shower didn’t work and neither did the TV." |

| "The staff were rude and disinterested and the entire hotel filthy. I've seen better lifts in Londons inner city blocks. Everything was disgusting. The human excrement, skin, hair, snot and general dirt which lined the sink, bath and toilet was stomach churning. After a day and a half travelling my husband and I knew we would be cleaner not showering. There were holes in the wall filled with crisp packets, other rubbish and used chewing gum (inches from the pillow - lovely), nothing in the room worked, bed and tv included. And everything was filthy. Everything! The air was so thick with smoke that you could barely breathe. I have never left a hotel feeling dirtier that when I arrived." |
