  • 1. Walt Disney World
    Disney World, Florida

Everyone who thinks Disney is for kids only - think again! There are so many things to do for adults as there is for kids.

  • 2. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
    Eiscafe Florenz, Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate

Saratoga Springs Resort is a wonderful resort! It is part of the Disney Vacation Club and this was our first trip "home". We had a studio apartment at Congress Park with a wonderful view of Downtown Disney's West Side. The studio was like a ''home away from home" almost. We had a comfy double bed, small fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker - just to name a few things.

  • 3. Magic Kingdom
    Magic Kingdom, Orlando

We purchased tickects for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party but unfortunately the day we went it rained (buckets!) and so we did not get to see much of the rides - too busy trying to find cover so as not to get too soaked. We did get good seats for the parade and the fireworks. Wow! Amazing fireworks!! The parade was fun too. The tickets for this event are not cheap but I would definitely recommend doing this at least once.

Best rides we rode on: Pirates of the Carribean; Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise.

Best place to grab a quick bite: Casey's Corner (best hot dogs & fries in our opinion!).

Great place to see Mickey, Minnie, and Donald!

  • 4. Disney's Animal Kingdom
    Disney's Animal Kingdom, Orlando

Great parade at 3:00 PM! Best place to see it pass by is "Asia" down a bit from the bird show. Don't miss the bird show either - amazing!

Be sure to look at the river that goes around the Tree of Life. We stopped to get a bite to eat (chicken fingers & chips in Asia) and went to look at the river. When we looked down there was an alligator (about 3-4 feet long)!

  • 5. Disney-MGM Studios
    Disney's Hollywood Studios, Orlando

Lots of rides! Make sure you get fastpasses when you can!

Wonderful holiday parade - really neat looking cars and lots of characters.

Fun place to eat: 50s PrimeTime Cafe!

Best show: Fantasmic - definitely a must!

  • 6. Epcot Center
    Epcot, Orlando

During the holidays at around dusk Epcot has it's tree lighting ceremony. Definitely worth seeing! Lots of characters, singing, dancing and a cool light show.

Also - don't miss Illuminations! One fo the best fireworks show around!

  • 7. Downtown Disney
    Downtown Disney, Celebration, Florida

Downtown Disney is great for shopping, dining and entertainment! Wonderful movie theatre (stadium seating); lots of shopping for those last minute gifts; and for dining - best place is Rainforest Cafe - great food and very entertaining.
