  • 4. The Baltimore Bar and Grill

This is half large bar with a few booths and half large open dining room . The decor is mostly a throwback to the 60's . Food is inexpesive but the menue is a bit limited . This is a very casual spot and the food while not goumet , is good . Try the Raviola and meatballs . Or a pizza with sausage and mushrooms . The Baltimore's entrance is on Atlantic Ave , right behind the Tropicanna's The Quarter Parking Garage . Some say this area is jinxed ther have been many strange events around this area . One of the owner's of the Baltimore was stabbed to death outside the restaurant a few years ago at Christmas time . Three workers were killed whe part of the Tropicanna's new garage collapsed during constuction . The Baltimore served as a command center for the resue workers and reporters at the scene . Supposedly a worker at the Chinese restaurant across from the Baltimore put a curse on the area after the restaurant was forced out due to high rents . No new restaurant has been able to be sucessful in that location since .
