My favorite and least favorite getaways so far
1. Holiday Inn Express Rome - San Giovanni

Great place to stay. Clean. Good value. Great staff. Locate close to the Metro line.
2. Rome

Get a three day metro pass and get off on all the stops.
3. Sunbay Park Hotel

Good place to stay if you are catching a cruise the next day.
4. Spain

5. Genoa

You feel like you stepped into the heart of Italy in Genoa. Small town charm and plenty of history.
6. Sicily

Lots of historical sites. See four corners. Visit a pastry shop.
7. Tunis

Skip it! Don't be held hostage by a pushy cab driver or shop owner.
8. Palma

Gorgeous island. Great place to relax, not a lot going on.

Don't buy bullfight tickets or take any complimentary day stays at a hotel. It is just a pitch for a timeshare.

Watch your wallet! Not much diffent from other Mexico beach destinations.

If you don't see anything else, see the museums and Central Park.
20. Miami

Fun! Stay on the coast. You will be glad you did.
21. Key Largo

Great getaway! Get a place on the water and make sure you go to Mrs. Mac's and have conch chowder.

This is a fun place to stay. There is always something going on. I have my concerns about how safe the buidling is. The bathroom window opened fully to the outside of the building which was a few stories up.
