  • 1. 'Ohana
    Ohana, Orlando

Located at the Polynesian Resort. This is one of the most entertaining and relaxing restaraunts in Disney World. I've been to Hawaii and this place does a pretty good job creating a hawaiian atmosphere. The food is outstanding. Usually I dislike shrimp, but the peel and eat shrimp here, was to die for. My other favorites were the salad with honey lime dressing, wonton wrappers with dipping sauces, potatoes, chicken wings, and a really yummy bread pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

  • 2. Boma - Flavors of Africa
Boma - Flavors of Africa, Orlando

Located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort. It's a buffet with foods inspired by Africa. This may sound intimidating to those who are not adventurous when it comes to trying new foods, but I think Boma does a good job at providing a variety of different foods that should appeal to just about anyone. The last time I was there (August 2006), they had a baked potato soup that was quite good. Also enjoyed the salmon, the curry potato salad, and the various desserts like the fruit tarts and zebra domes. Tip: if you come here to dine and have some time to kill either before or after your meal, check out the savanah viewing area outside; and the african art work throughout the hotel lobby.

  • 3. Kringla Bakery Og Kafe

Located in the Norway section of Epcot's World Showcase. They have really yummy Baked goods here. Everyone always raves about the bakery in France, but I prefer this place because it's usually less crowded and the pasteries are just as good if not better in my opinion. My favorite food from Kringla would have to be the School Bread. It's sort of like a custard filled donut, only not as sweet. Very good, and quite filling.

  • 4. Aloha Isle

Located at Adventure Land in the Magic Kingdom. For those of you who like Pineapple, this place is a must. The specialty here is dole whips (pinapple soft serve), and dole whip floats. Very refreshing on those hot and humid days.

  • 5. San Angel Inn

Located at Mexico in Epcot's World Showcase. I highly recomend this place to anyone who loves mexican food. Even if you don't like the food it's worth a visit for the atmosphere alone.

  • 6. Wolfgang Puck Express Downtown Disney
    Walt Disney World, Florida

This is different from the other counter service restaraunts in Disney. You order your food at the counter, but they have a server bring it to your table. The service here was surprisingly good. We had better service here than at some of the expensive table service restaurants, and the food was excellent. The food is much better quality than what you would find at most of the counter service places in WDW. Two things that really stood out for food were the mashed potatoes and the creme brule.

  • 7. Kaki Gori

A small food stand located in Japan at Epcot's World Showcase. Kaki Gori is basically a snowcone, but it's a really good snowcone. They have flavors like honeydew mellon, and tangerine. Unlike most snowcones, it does not have that overly sweet, fake taste. They are so good, last time I got one I offered some to my niece to try, and she ate almost the entire thing.

  • 8. ESPN Club
    ESPN Club, Orlando

Located at the Board Walk. Fun place, I like it and I'm not even into sports. My favorite dish is the Tuna Wrap. They use fresh tuna, not the canned stuff. I've been to several of the ESPN clubs, enjoyed them all, but the menu is different at everyone. Couldn't believe the number of TV's they had going. They even have TV's in the restrooms.
