Ohio has a wide variety of attractions to visit. Here are my personal favorites.
Perfect for families and roller coaster enthusiests.
Wineries, caves, Perry's Monument, and a large bar scene await on Put-in-Bay. Quieter family orientated Kelley's Island with one of the worlds best examples of glacial grooves. Only accessible by ferry. Cars accepted by some ferry boats, bikes and golf carts for rent on both islands. Civil war cemetary on Johnson's Island (former Confederate Prison Camp) in the Sandusky Bay. Marblehead Lighthouse (on the mainland, not an island), more wineries.
Heini's Cheese Chalet, craftsmen and bakeries, Der Dutchmen and other authentic Amish restaurants gives you a glimpse of simpler way of life.
Canoing, hiking, horseback riding, waterfalls, wildflowers, antiquing.
Professional baseball on the Ohio River with the Cincinnati Reds, or on Lake Erie with the Cleveland Indians
From Elvis, The Beatles to Blondie and the Stones...has it all!
Beautiful hiking and waterfalls, and a scenic train ride all the kids love.
Great displays of live butterflys.
Amazing birds watching. A popular resting spot in the spring and summer for migrating birds.
Great for families with smaller children, great waterpark included in the admission price.
