Here are our favorite park attractions, restaurants, shops, experiences, etc. They may not be the "best of", but they're our list of "can't miss".
Magic Kingdom is, hands down, our family's favorite park at Disney World. We spend more time here than in any other park.
Don't spend your vacation standing in line. With Fast Pass, you can go right to the head of the line. Get your Fast Pass, have a bite to eat, go to your attraction. Or, get your FP, go ride something else with a shorter line, then go back to your FP ride. Or, if it's something you really love, get your FP, stand in line and ride, then go right back on with your FP. We hardly ever had to wait more than 15 minutes to get on ANYTHING.
This is always the first thing we ride at Magic Kingdom. It's fun for all of us. My son loves it as much as a teenager as he did as a 10 year old. We love to compare the "plunge" photos for all the previous visits. (FP)
We go straight from Splash Mountain to Big Thunder Mountain. Since not everyone in our family loves coasters, this is a great choice for us to ride together. It's fun and exciting without being scary. It's fun for kids, teens, and adults. This is one of the attractions we ride many times. (FP)
This is our favorite 4D attraction in all of WDW. It has it all: Mickey, Donald, all our favorite movies like Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Alladin, etc. This is another attraction we visit multiple times during the same trip. (FP)
How much fun is this?! We team up and compete against each other over and over to see who gets the highest score. (FP)
This is so much fun!! We love it when we see our "hitchhikers" at the end of the ride. (FP)
This slow moving ride may not seem like much, but it's one of our favorite ways to sit down and take a break. It takes your all around Tomorrowland, even into Space Mountain. It offers some great photo opportunities. It's a much better use of your "rest" time than simply sitting on a bench.
The Fireworks at Magic Kingdom are the perfect way to end the day there. We try to end our evening's activities about an hour before the fireworks begin. We grab popcorn and drinks, and find a table outside the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. It's a great place to sit comfortably and watch the castle's color changing display, and then the fireworks.
This is another great way to sit down and rest, and still have a great time. The guides are so corny you can't help but laugh. (FP)
This is a good choice for lunch if you're tired of burgers/pizza/hot dogs. You can get chowder, fish, chicken, etc. The portions are big enough to split.
We always find new things to see and experience at EPCOT, especially in the World Showcase. Little kids may not find it very interesting, but older kids, teens, and adults will definitely find something here that ends up on their "must do" list.
Gotta do it! Gotta do it more than once!! Love it!! (Sorry, I'm trying to catch my breath!)
(FP)
If you're going to eat breakfast in EPCOT, try the breakfast pocket sandwiches here. Two people can easily get full by splitting one of these egg, cheese, and breakfast meat sandwiches.
Who knew that Canada would be such a great exibit? We love the waterfall and the 360 degree movie.
This is a beautiful exhibit.
The pyramid at Mexico is one of our favorite places in EPCOT. The bazaar, restaurant, and the River of Time ride are great
It is so interesting to shop in all the different countries. You really feel like you're stepping into another part of the world. We like to get a little something from each of our favorites.
Pick a country, any country! There's NO WAY to try all the food in one trip, so try something different every time. Eat lunch in France, snack in Norway, and dinner in Canada. Or Italy. Or England. Or........
Everytime we go here, we enjoy it more and more. Many of our "must do list" is from AK.
Do this early, for 2 reasons: You're clothes will have time to dry, and because you'll NEVER get on if you wait until later in the day. Even with Fast Pass.
This is a close second to Mickey's Philharmagic as our favorite 4D show. Even with Fast Pass the lines can be long. But it's OK because the queue winds around/though the Tree of Life.
This is our favorite live show in all of Disney World. It's so bright and energetic you can't help but feel great when you come out.
We really like this BBQ counter service restaurant. The portions are HUGE. A half a chicken? Come on! Two people can easily split one of the plates, with maybe an extra side. We like the chicken, ribs, and sandwiches. They also have a really big fruit plate that is an excellent alternative to a heavy lunch. Take your lunch and go down to the dining area around the lake/river.
We're not big fans of Disney Studios, but we DO like the food choices there. The 50's Prime Time Cafe is our favorite. It's fun to pretend you're sitting in your Mom's kitchen eating supper. The food was good and the portions are huge.
