  • 1. Pike Place Market
    Pike Place Market, Seattle, Washington

If you only have time for one stop, this should be it. They close early on the weekdays, so be sure to visit during lunch and enjoy some great food with a view. We really like the little Chinese restaurant that is one level below the main market. Good prices and great view of the sound.
Donât forget to see the fish market, eat some mini-doughnuts and sample the fresh produce. If you are staying with friends, you should get them some fresh flowers. They are only $10, and we get some each time we visit.
You can easily take on of the elevators down to the waterfront from here. The best parking is on the waterfront across from the Seattle Aquarium. Don't forget to visit that too!

  • 2. Seattle Aquarium
    Seattle Aquarium, Seattle, Washington

  • 3. Crab Pot Restaurant and Bar
The Crab Pot Seafood Restaurant, Seattle, Washington

If you like shellfish, then you will love the Crab Pot. We always bring out of town visitors here for some great Seattle seafood.

  • 4. Ye Olde Curiosity Shop
Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, Seattle, Washington

While on the water front be sure to stop and check out this store. I really miss the old building that this was in before, but you still can't beat this place for odd stuff. There are real shrunken heads, old time vending machines, a player piano, and a real mummy!

  • 5. Ivar's Seafood Bar
    Ivar's Seafood Bar, Seattle, Washington

This is the best place on the planet to get fast fish. Shout out your order when you get to the window and watch out for the seagulls. I had a fish fillet stolen right off my tray while walking to a table! This is near the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop.
To be honest, everyplace on the waterfront is good eating, but we like Ivars.

  • 6. Pacific Science Center
    Pacific Science Center, Seattle, Washington

This is a great place to take the kids. You can spend the whole day here and at the Seattle center. If they get the mono-rail working again, don't forget to take a ride.
There are also 2 imax theaters, the fun forest (rides), the space needle and Experience Music Project.

  • 7. The Children's Museum
    Seattle Children's Museum, Seattle, Washington

If your kids are between 2 and 10 they will like this place. It's hours of fun and it's under the center house (food area) of the Seattle Center.

  • 8. The Space Needle
Space Needle: Sky City, Seattle, Washington

The prices here are much better than you would expect. The best view in Seattle. Be sure to reserve your table online. You can visit the obervation deck free when your done eating.

  • 9. Woodland Park Zoo
    Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle, Washington

I love this Zoo. There are lots of trees, so even on a hot day it's not too bad.
Jump on Hwy 99 (If you near the space needle) and head north.
This is a good 4 hours. You will be dead tired by the end.

  • 10. Seattle Marriott Waterfront
    Marriott Waterfront Seattle, Seattle, Washington

I have never stayed here. But i would love to. It's in the center of everything in this list! The Edgewater Inn is also very nice.

  • 11. Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle Downtown
Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle Downtown, Seattle, Washington

This is a great hotel that you can walk to the Seattle Center from and the prices are very good for the area.
