Stoweflake really knows how to provide top of the line service. The rooms are spacious and they also have turn down service. One of the top features about the hotel is the pools and not to mention the "SPA". You must get a spa in their beautiful atmosphore. Make sure to make reservations early as they get pretty booked.

They have 2 pools an indoor one and an outdoor pool. The kids love it. Also, there is an arcade room which they also carry pool tables.

  • 2. Adams Family Farm
    Adams Family Farm, Wilmington, Vermont

Great for kids. Have many activities. We drove from NY so this was a great place to stop and take a long rest for the kids before heading to Stowe. They have pony rides, tractor tour of the farm and animals such as sheeps, horses, llamas etc..

  • 3. Apple Cheek Farm

Family owned farm. If you want to see more of a family farm not too comercialized this is the one. You get a 2 hour tour. Judy & John are wondeful. My 6 year old "LOVED" it. They enjoyed it more than Adams not to mention my grandfather. They have cows, horses, pony's, llamas, lots of chickens, emu, sheeps. They show you how they milk the cow's, have a huge container where a truck p/u the milk for icecream etc..

They also provide hayrides, and llama rides to the mountains. You have to book ahead of time.

  • 4. Vermont Teddy Bear

This is a must for the kids. You can get a tour of how the company started and how they make the teddy bears. a 5 year old will get bored older than 8 will enjoy it. After the tour you come out to the store where they can build their own teddy or buy a collectable.
