1. John Harvard statue
This unmistakeable statue sitting in front of University Hall is undoubtedly one of the most photographed landmarks at Harvard. Tourists regularly surround the statue for photos. Regardless of how much people may encourage you, avoid rubbing his shiny bronze toe for good luck -- unless you don't mind urine on your fingers.
No trip to Harvard is complete without a visit to the Yard. Most buildings you will see here are dorms for Harvard freshmen. If you're curious as to how Harvard students live, consider paying a poor student a couple of bucks to see their rooms.
3. Arts First
Harvard's annual festival of arts features free performances around the Square and at various venues around the University. It's a great time to see the liveliness of the Harvard community.
4. Hasty Pudding Parade
The Hasty Pudding's annual parades honor talented actors/actresses by offering them a chance to parade around with crossdressing Harvard boys. Who can resist?
Harvard's Museum of Natural History displays fine examples of rare gems, taxidermy, and the famous botanical collection made of glass.
7. Lowell House
One of the most recognizable undergraduate houses at Harvard, Lowell House features a set of Russian bells that wake up groggy students every Sunday. Lowell courtyard is great for photos.
