Where to affordably stay while in the Massai Mara

Instead of spending a fortune on expensive hotels or high end tent lodging, stay at Mara Springs Camp with large, clean room tents with real beds and bedding. They even have real hot showers and toilets at the bath house. Must bring your own cook with food or bring your own and cook. Can't beat the location or the price. Very safe. Who says the Mara is expensive??

One of the best and affordable places to stay while visitng the Mara. Only 3 km from the Mara entrance, located in a quiet cool valley. Has covered dining area and is safe.

  • 2. Massai Mara

One of THE best places to view the Big 5 among other great animals. Be prepared for lots of driving but you should see animals at every turn. Plan on a minimum of 5 days to see most of it.

  • 3. Photography in Africa

To get the best pics in Africa be sure your digital camera has a minimum of 10X. You do get close to some animals but others keep their distance so you'll need a camera with a long lens. And a digital camera with Image Stabilization is best so you can click on the fly and not worry about blurr. And take lots of memory, there is no where within hundreds of miles to buy more!
