College sports stadiums and arenas, ranked on atmosphere, popularity, and fan spirit.
Beaver Stadium. It doesn't get any better than this for football or tailgating.
The granddaddy of bowls. UCLA plays their home football games here.
Cameron Indoor Stadium, where the Duke basketball teams play, and the home of the Cameron Crazies.
The Yale Bowl. True, Yale is now a Division I-AA football team, but there is a ton of history in this facility, and Yale was instrumental in the development of college football.
LSU's football stadium is known as "Death Valley". On a Saturday night against one of their big rivals, the crowd noise can be deafening. There's nothing like a Saturday night of SEC football.
The second-best football stadium in the Big Ten. The stadium design is impressive, and sousaphone players around the country want to "dot the I" in "Script Ohio".
Home of the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball teams.
Assembly Hall is the home to Indiana University's basketball teams.
The NIT pre- and postseason basketball tournaments are held in MSG. It is also the home facility for St. John's University.
Located on the Texas State Fair grounds, this is the site (through 2007) of the annual "Red River Rivalry" between the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma. The Cotton Bowl is, incidentally, also played here.
11. Lincoln Financial Field
This list's Honorable Mention. The Annual Army - Navy game is held in this football stadium in Philadelphia.
