Brownsea island is situated in Poole Harbour and takes up 500 acres.

It is famous for its red squirrels and many unique and rare animals. It also famous worlwide for being the location where Baden-Powell started scouting!

Families can tours in the island and have a wonder around the island. It also has a beach area to use up the summer sun!

As the island is owned by the National Trust, there is a fee for the boat ride to the island and a fee to get onto the island.
The Dolphin centre is a huge shopping center containing over 150 shops!

This is a great opportunity if you have a daughter or a son that you can have a parent - child day or for teenagers to explore their independence..........
3. Tower Park
Tower Park is a big complex in Poole. near Parkstone.

Set next to a huge water tower over 50m high sometimes referred to as 'The Cereal Bowl' it boasts about 10 restaurants including 'Frankie and Bennys', 'Calendars', and for the kids there are 'KFC' and 'Burger King'.

And if you are really a cheapskate there is a 'Tesco' next door.

Attractions at Tower Park include a fitness center, 15-acre water park, cinema, bowling and Gala Bingo along with some arcades........

A place well worth visiting.........
4. Poole Quay
Poole harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world!

This can be a great opportunity to rent a boat and go fishing, relax and sunbathe or even go for a self-made cruise......

The possibilities are almost endless with a boat on Poole Quay
Last but definately not least, we have Sandbanks which is a stunning Poole Beach with a blue flag award.

The beach overlooks all the bournemouth beaches through bournemouth pier and up to the Hengistbury Head.

In the other direction it overlooks Swanage all the way to Old Harry Rocks!
great for the summer sun and family day out.
