1. The Club Hotel & Spa

If you are going to Jersey for a short break this is the place to stay we loved the hotel for it's attention to detail and service the staff were amazing. The restaurants are the best on the island and the bar is the place to be on a friday night in Jersey. The spa is so relaxing the four handed treatment is a must as is the rasul mud room!
2. St Ouens Bay
This is a five mile beach on the west coast of Jersey we had a surfing lesson here as a bit of fun and with 3 foot waves it was perfect although the walk to the sea was long as the tide was half out it can be nearly a mile out at low tide we were told! we stayed at the beach till quiet late and it really is stunning in the evening the cafe down here called Big Verns is one of those places that you have to visit what ever age you are great location just above the beach pics of surf every where great burgers and a B&O music system.
Even if you don't want to try surfing or swim st Ouens is a must visit beach for the views, sand dunes(we didn't have time to explore them this trip) and the stunning cliffs at one end with a light house.
3. Gorey Castle
This is a stunning castle above a little harbour that is full of restaurants the catle is a good half day tour with lodas of little rooms you get lost in and the view when you pop out on top is just amazing you can see france and all of gorey bay below the histroy of how the french and english fought over Jersey is told here and even if like me history isn't your favourite past time i would still recommend you visit.
4. dolmen
We where taken to to see this by a friend who lives on Jersey and I think you would need a local guide to find it but would be worth the expense. The best way to describe it is a mini stone henge it was a burial site 6000 years ago and is just above a tiny bay that you can only get down to by the smallest winding road i have ever been on and it's 2 way! it is not sign posted so no one was down there but it really is beautiful. there are appartly quite a few of these sites on the island.
5. plemont bay
This beach is at the top western edge of Jersey and is a great place to explore with a cliff path down from the parking (which is tight) and a little bridge from the cliff to rocks to get on to the beach then caves and gullys every where it is just another world we where here in the late spring so we could swim and lie on the beach but i think this would be the sort of beach that is worth a visit all year. the cafe is ok for a snack but be warned the beach disapears at high tide! we slow had to move up the beach untill we had to retreat on to the rocks to escape the tide coming up
6. La Mare Vineyards & Distillery
La Mare Vineyards & Distillery, St. Mary, Jersey
If you have been to lots of vineyards around france you find this one a bit small and you have to pay to tour it unlike many in france, that said it is still worth a visit as they make some great sparkling wine as well as cider. The setting is very postcard and the view from some of the vineyards acroos the sea to the other islands are great.
7. Jersey race course

Again our local friend took us the watch some horse racing here and this must be the only race course i have been to that has a view acrros the sea to other islands we had a pinic and spent the afternoon here watching the races I think they only have about 8 meetings a year so you'll have to look at there website to see if they have any race when you visit
