Great weeklong trip through Chile

Most travel guides do not have this excellent service listed. The modern train leaves from Santiago's Central Station (Estación Central, Alameda 3170) at 10.30 am and arrives in Temuco at 7.30 pm. From here you will transfer to a luxury motor coach, which will drop you off in Pucon at 10.15 pm. A great way to see the country and its people and cover a lot of distance in a very pleasant way.

Pucon is surrounded by snowcapped active volcanoes. Its dramatic scenery makes this expedition to the top of a volcano Villarica a special treat. The ascent requires medium physical fitness.

Treat yourself to a day at the thermal baths located just outside of Pucon.

Drive through impressive scenery towards Lago Llanquihue and stop in Valdivia and Frutillar on the way.

Drive to Petrohué and get onto a Lake cruise ship which will take you through awe-inspiring scenery across the emerald colored Todos Los Santos Lake and towards the Argentinean border. This is one of the best day trips in Chile! You will arrive in the little town of Peulla at midday and can enjoy its culinary and natural delights.
