One time in West Palm Beach….

I took a weekend trip down here with my brother and a couple of his friends to visit our mom. Here's a list of some of the things we did.

1. Strolling through CityPlace
|
|
| Known for its Spanish-style architechture, this city landmark is an expansive shopping area with over 50 established retail stores. It also has great restaurants and sometimes live music at night. |

2. Grabbing a great, relaxing lunch at Brewzzi
|
|
| While its busiest time is during the dinner hours, my mom and I enjoyed some flavorful skirt steak for lunch at their bar. Also a brewery, Brewzzi has six unique beers on tap in addition to the traditional macro-brews. |

| No, we didn't go right from lunch to dinner, but the stuff in between didn't involve anything that would be all that exciting to the reader. Anyway, Il Bellagio has a delightful ambience and an even better menu. Enjoy laughs, a nicely situated bar and great italian food. |

4. Breakfast at the Cheesecake Factory

| Not exactly unique here (for non-US readers, CCF is a chain spread across the country). But hey, it's good stuff regardless. I'm sure you must think all my family ever does is eat. Not the case, don't worry. I certainly don't want PatsFan584 to get a bad rep. |

5. Harriet Himmel Gilman Theater

| This is a relatively new entertainment theater. We were lucky enough to catch a matinee performance from Bruce Hornsby, longtime solo performer and guest member of the Grateful Dead. |

| Another real adventurous dining choice here. But in my opinion Legal's has the best seafood in the country. This one is also located in CityPlace |

9. Original Steakhouse and Bar
|
|
| "Original" is packed with TVs wall to wall with a great atmosphere, great bar food and steaks and of course great beer deals. It was a great place to watch my beloved New England Patriots dismantle the Philadelphia Eagles and claim their third Superbowl in four years. |
