When to go, where to stay, what to do.
Right across the street from Disneyland and the main entrance. At night in the breakfast room there's a great view of the fireworks over the Castle. Nice rooms with refridgerators (keep a cool supply of drinks handy!).
Right next door to the main entrance. Location says it all. Pretty atmosphere in keeping with the fantasy theme of Disneyland.
The happiest place on earth -- of course. (Just watch out for all the baby strollers and folks who don't know how to drive them!)
If you can afford it go for it! Feels like you are in Yosemite National Park. Otherwise, stop off here in their main bar just off the lobby for a variety of tasty California inspired cocktails (martinis such as Mount Shasta or Golden gate). Nice for an evening prior to Disneyland, a break during the day, or an evening relaxing afterwards.
Multiple star restaurant good for celebrating any special occasion, with culinary wonders and wonderful wine list.
The outside circular Uva bar -- sitting right in the middle of Downtown Disney's walkway -- is a great place for a midday break from Park pastimes and having a "cold one" and a snack, or full meal if you wish. Also great for people watching.
Another good place to break away from amusement adventuring with some great Cajun food and drinks. Live jazz also to be had at certain times of day and night.
