A wonderful all inclusive, lots of activities and gratious people. It rates a 5 star in our book. Would recommend this place to anyone and especially budget minded people. Anyone who says the food isn't good has to be very finicky. There is hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, french fries, and onion rings, etc. for those people who don't like to try different things. Oh yes, there is also lunchmeat and cheese. But one can get a reservation to 3 different types of restaraunts plus the buffet has something different everyday. Did I mention, the grill for breakfast, eggs anyway you like them. So there is something for everyone.
Great all day trip. Book the Coba Mayan Encounter through All Tour Native Adventures. The driver and escort are multi-lingual. You will get to Rappel, go on a zipline, swim in a cenote, kayak, have lunch at a mayan village, and tour the ruins...plus more. The trip was fantastic but my sister gave several of us a real laugh. We had climbed to the top of a very steep ruin and sought shelter in the temple at the top. We had just sat down and my sister noticed what I think was some plastic wrap on the ground. She commented it looked like a used condom and no wonder there were fewer Mayans. Everyone had a big laugh and made us forget momentarily how hot we were. Seriously the day trip was one of the best we have ever been on. Very informative also it was a small group of 10 people. The maximum size is 14 that they will take. This gave us the needed time to explore, ask questions, and take our time. Well worth the money.
3. Dolphin Encounter Puerto Adventurous
Go down to the Marina in Puerto Adventuras and see the Dolphins, Manatees, and Sea Lions. You can also swim with the Dolphins if you want. While we didn't do that, we did watch the shows that are put on for free. It was a nice diversion for an hour or so. There are many shops to visit also and the welcome your patronage.
