Get outside! Fun hike with a great view of the University of Montana and beond. Especially great combined with Fall Colors.

  • 2. Guy's Lolo Creek Steakhouse

Head south on highway 93 for a true Montana dining experience in Lolo. You have to go to understand! Oh and don't forget to order a Huckleberry Dacqueri!

  • 3. Flathead Lake
Flathead Lake State Park, Kalispell, Montana

Take a day trip and head north to Flathead lake. This is the largest freshwater lake west of the mississippi. You can't ask for a better view then your fist siting from 93N. Wow! This is a don't miss! Also of interest is your scenic drive up and view of the mission mountains on the way.

  • 4. Farmer's Market
    http://visitmt.com/categories/moreinfo.asp?IDRRecordId=12750&SiteId=1

Fantastic Art's and crafts market. If you are a fan of unique jewelry at affordable prices this is your place. Every Saturday morning in the summer downtown at the end of Higgins street. Think of this one as Green Peace and the Republicans mix peacefully.

  • 5. Rockin Rudy's
    http://www.rockinrudys.com/

If you are traveling with teenagers or you're young at heart don't miss this store!

  • 6. Griz Game
    http://www.montanagrizzlies.com/

These people know how to support their athletes! A town of 65,000 will have over 20,000 people in the stadium for a football game. If you are in Missoula in the fall try to get tickets (it won't be easy). This stadium has a great crowd and a great view!

  • 7. The Depot

For a nice dinner head downtown to The Depot. I recommend the seared Ahi Tuna appetizer and of course a Moose Drool. I spent many an evening at The Depot but never a bad meal.

  • 8. Glacier National Park
    Glacier National Park, Montana

A must see. Spend a few days in the park. First take the shuttle ride in old historic vehicles on the going to the sun road. If you're a day hiker check out glacierguides.com for a chalet hike. You can stay in the historic Sperry or Granite Park chalets plus enjoy beautiful views.
