Several sites around the United States of interest to music fans.
1. Graceland, Memphis
Fans of the King will love being immersed in the eccentric collection of all things Elvis at this famous estate.
This memorial in Central Park is dedicated to the life and music of the famous Beatle John Lennon.
3. Jerry Lee Lewis Ranch House, Nesbit, Mississippi
This rock 'n' roll pioneer lived here on this southern ranch. It currently operates as a museum containing many exhibits from his career.
4. Scott Joplin House, St. Louis, Missouri
The King of Ragtime lived here, in the middle of the Mississippi River blues culture.
5. Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton, Washington
Guitar legend Jimi Hendrix was buried here in 1970. Fans continue to visit to leave flowers and remember his music.
6. Louis Armstrong House Museum, New York City
The former home of this jazz great has been preserved much as it was when he lived there. Guided tours are available for a small fee.
7. Buddy Holly Center, Lubbock, Texas
Exhibits about this early rocker and other greats are on display here. The Buddy Holly statue is located a few blocks away.
8. Liberace Museum, Las Vegas
This museum's exhibits include collections of cars, costumes, jewelry and pianos of the popular perfoming musician, Mr. Showmanship. The museum is open daily, and admission fees apply.
