Our first stop is Africa’s tallest building, the Carlton Centre - “Top of Africa”, for a panoramic view of the city of Joburg. Visit Museum Africa (Tues - Sat) which tells the story of life in Southern Africa from the Stone Age through to today, the SAB “World of Beer” Museum (Tues - Sat), the Old Fort that was used as a prison until 1986 and is the only prison in the world to have accommodated 3 Nobel Peace prize winners (Ghandi, Luthuli & Mandela) and now known as Constitution Hill.
