A list and description of places to go, things to do and assorted things you might not have thought of ...
A good solid place to eat (most steak entrees) and drink. There are two locations, the downtown is fun and more trendy with a great patio. The one is south Windsor is more intimate. Both are busy and the menu the same.
A funky place to eat, the stir-frys are the specialty. A little different than a place you would normally go ....
A romantic place for couple to eat. The menu is traditional and reasonable. I always have a great meal when I eat there. A little hard to find, but worth seeking out!
18 Holes Public Play Golf Course. Probably the nicest and best kept course in the county. Challenging but fair, a great "links style course".
Championship Golf Course - Public Play. Likely my favourite place to play. The layout is forgiving, and great for all levels of play. The green fees are reasonable and the staff is great.
Casino, Hotel and dining all wrapped into one. A nice casino, free parking and easily the nicest rooms in Windsor, no contest. Some dining options are available, the buffet is usually great and not too overpriced.
If you don't want to buck up for Casears, then this is the next best place to stay. Rooms are spacious and not too outdated as of yet. This hotel on the riverfront will keep you in the middle of everything.
Waterfront Park, along Detroit River. Run, jog or stroll along. This park is several kilomotres long, offering decent scenery, sculptures, flowers, fountains etc ....
Its the mall. What can be said .... too bad there aren't better places to go, but in Windsor this is pretty much it. Has all the standard shops one would expect as well as a Cinema if you so choose.
Ecclectic bar, with a decent well prices menu. They are famous for the $2 Rye/Coke, but I tihnk the price is now $3. Anyway, good atmosphere, you will find a lot of locals here. 20 somethings later at night ... the rest of us during the day and early evening. Has two floors, more of a lounge upstairs. No cover.
Intimate & trendy pub/bar. Fun little place to go, lots of beers on tap, interesting menu items and good service. Older building giving off more of a pub feel than you will find elsewhere in the city.
